> west > Magnussen's Tower: Tower Interior
The tower rises into infiniate darkness overheard. Like a chimmney night reaching into the highest reaches the tower stretches away overhead. You have the feeling of being at the bottom of a vast well. Low fires burn in wall niches gleam and play across rich beadwork hangings around the circular walls. A giant iron bell hangs from a chain thicker than a man's waist. The chain reaches up into the limits of vision. A narrow stair follows the curving wall in an upward spiral.
There are two obvious exits : east and up. Erynnie Kenkunken, Three Troglodyte Priests and Two Troglodyte Warriors are here. > ct

east > Magnussen's Tower: Tower Passage
The chanting is quite loud here and seems deep and guttural and completely inhuman. The firelight to the east dances on the decorated walls and the mosaics are difficult to discern in the ever-changing light. The walls of the tower are least fifty feet thick and the interior of the tower can be seen westward.
There are two obvious exits : east and west. > east > Magnussen's Tower: Tower Passage
The walls of the passage are rough and seem to have been carved and chipped away over time to form swirling whorls and strange patterns of decoration. Shells stud the walls lending a mosaic feel to the reliefs. Westward down the passage firelight can be seen and it seems that the passage opens into a large room. The walls of the tower are frighteningly thick. To the east you can see the village through a crack in the wall.
