   A long hallway stretches through the Temple of the Ebon Essence. Set into
the walls at intervals of thirteen paces, pairs of torches cast flickering
shadows onto long, blood-red carpet running the length of the passageway. 
Smaller but equally demonic masks line the walls between the torches.  A narrow
unmarked door now joins the progression of the masks, leading to unknown parts
of the temple.


There are three obvious exits : south, west and north.

   Although this room serves as a guest chamber, it would embarrass the
hospitality of the scummiest sailor inn you've ever had the misery to stay in. 
Actually, at least it is not filthy, but rather impeccably clean.  However, the
monks have not even provided mats or a chamber pot.  The room is completely
unfurnished, and the only decoration is a large fresco covering the ceiling. 
You notice that the lock for the heavy door is on the outside.  Obviously the
monks fail to distinguish between guests and prisoners.
