     The earth smells damp and stagnant, a result of the endless mist and fog
that rolls throught the forest.  Thin trees are merely scraggly shapes, looming
eeriely beside you.  Twisted shadows jump across your path, and tiny bugs
scatter from beneath your feet.  At the edge of the road, you see what looks
like a mass of decaying flesh.  Flies swarm shamelessly about the corpse.
