torches that are embedded into the walls.  These human and dwarves work
together to harvest the precious mineral that is their bread and butter. The

insane.  The mithral gems put off a glittery in the dim light.  The worn path
has grooves from all of the miners that have passed through these mines for the
last couple centuries.  The tunnel goes to the northeast and southwest.

     This is the Miner's trail.  You can see that heavy mining activity has
taken place in this section of the mines. Mithril rock protrudes from the walls
of the mines. You can hear the sounds of picks off in the distance.  The trail
leads on to the north and south from here.

     A huge cavern opens up beyond the gate to the west. Beyond the gate is the
Village of Vilmiud. A village which has been able to survive in these mines
despite all of it's hardships. A small lantern hangs from the gate to
illuminate the surrounding area. You can continue through the gate or northeast
and northwest into the mines.
