   You are now standing on a highway northwest of the city of Shadowfall.  On
the horizon to the northeast you see the snow covered peaks of the Shadowfall
Mountains.  This road, which once might have been used by numbers of people for
trade and commerce, is now barren.  Other than some dying trees, there is not
much around.  The lone sound is the wind blowing the dry leaves around you.
