forest surrounding Unicorn Mountain.  To the far south lies Haisk and to the
far southwest lies Daggerford.  The famed Crossroads Inn is here, and many
people stream in and out of it.

northeast on the horizon, you can see the snow covered peaks of the Shadowfall
Mountains.  Unicorn Mountain and its surrounding forest lies far to the
northwest. A few dead branches and twigs blow about in the wind.  The area is
actually quite desolate.  The city of Haisk lies in the distance to the
southwest.

Main Street

     You are walking along Main Street in Shadowfall. To the East lies the
ill-reputed Shadowfall Marketplace, and the Street continues West. To the North
and South lie the pitiful slums that make up most of the city. There are no
streets there, only alleys and paths through a mixture of ruined buildings and
piecemeal hovels, all teeming with Shadowfall's dregs and wretches.  A heavily
fortified building is to the south.  Above the door in big bold letters you
notice the words "GUARD HALL".
