Main Square.

  A colossal fountain of fire dominates the main square of Deepfire.  The
fountain is carved out of pure white marble in the shape of an exquisitely
beautiful woman, her lovely mouth curved in a cruel, remote smile.  Flames pour
from her upraised hands down into a marble pool filled with fire.  Vaguely
unnerved, you glance around the square, taking a sudden interest in other
places to be.
There are eight obvious exits : north, south, east, west, northeast, northwest,
southeast and southwest.

Main Square:  Rail of Fire.

  Walking north, you step out onto a ledge over the molten center of the
volcano itself.  Peering over the edge, you feel the terrible heat from the
magma singe your eyelashes.  A dark metal rail prevents you from getting too
close to the very edge, although  a locked gate leads out over to the edge.  A
priestess stands inside the gate, throwing heathen books into the lava as a
sacrifice to Immakala.  A cage holding a dirty, scrawny human prisoner is
guarded by a stern-faced warrior.  It appears that after the books the prisoner
will be hurled to feed the volcano's fiery hunger.
There is one obvious exit: south.
