Gate of Fire.
The great gate of fire flares up before your eyes. Bars of fire dance up
before you, lacing the huge arch of the mountain entrance with a web of flame.
Unlike most gates, no guards stand watch--the fire people trust in their
goddess' magical flames to keep out all but her most loyal. Although the fire
people can pass untouched through this burning portal, you fear that without
the benediction of Immakala, you will not pass through unscathed. The mountain
road winds down to your south, and northwards the gate of fire shimmers with
scorching radiance.
There are two obvious exits : north and south.

Corridor of Fire.
Curving flames form the walls of this long cavernous tunnel through the
mountain. Elegantly carved stone stairs decend from five ornate gates spaced
along the corridor, each one the entrance to one of the great warrior houses of
Deepfire. You stand before the first great gate, staring up at the white
marble arch above you, squinting at the gold inlaid inscription. The corridor
of fire continues to the east, and the main square lies to the southwest.
There are three obvious exits : southwest, east and down.

A long rectangular table of blackest marble dominates the large room that
opens out before you. The insignia of the House is inlaid in pure, gleaming
gold upon the table. Metal benches surround the table on three sides, and at
the head of the table is a carved marble chair. A single warrior snoozes on a
bench, apparently hiding from his duties in the barracks to the east. The Hall
of Trophies is directly north. and a heavy door to the southwest is closed.
