This is a dimly lit stairwell. The walls are made of a polished wood, which
reflects light emitted by several white candles on brass holders. Stairs
descend from east to west, to the first floor. A door to the west leads to the
rest of the guild. A single window on the east wall provides a nice view of
the city.
There are two obvious exits : west and down.

Welcome weary travelers one and all! You have arrived at Drakkar's Tavern
and Eatery. THE finest establishment on the Isle of Belaern. You can see a
clean and well maintained bar and several tables open that you can seat
yourself at. Above the bar is a menu which lists prices and items availible
for sale. There are two doors to this fine establishment, the one to the east
is closed and the one to the west leads back out onto Serpent Way.
