The land is lit up by the eerie light of the waning three quarter moon.

You are standing on a dark road to the northwest of Shadowfall. You cannot
see much, but you hear the shuffling of feet around you. You look to the
ground and see your shadow and cringe. It is so dark that in putting your hand
out in front of you, you can barely make out your fingers. This is definitely
an eerie place.
