scan
You scan the seas around your ship and see:

Belgar's Haven: Central Pier.

The Central Pier was recently rebuilt by the town council. The supports
were repaired, and new moorings put in place. Talin, the town mayer, hopes to
revive his town's struggling economy through the shipping and shipbuilding
business. Private vessels from all over the realms sail from this pier every
day. Maybe you could buy your own ship to sail, for the right price.

There are two obvious exits : east and sea.

helm!"
The indestructible shield surrounding you vanishes!
Amula hits you harmlessly with her Jeweled Dagger.

The foresail is quickly raised and immediately catches a full coastal wind. The
ship shudders as it picks up speed and departs from the harbor.

A crewmen shouts, "Looks mighty dark towards the isle, sir!" You look toward
your destination and see ominously dark clouds hanging heavily over the distant
islands.

The captain says, "Aye....We'll have to push to beat the storm. If we hit the
cross winds, drop the foresail and get below. Raise full sail, and hope to the
Gods that we'll make it before the trouble hits!"

The mighty ship suddenly picks up more speed, as if responding to the coaxing
of the captain. The island comes into full view as the dark clouds flow in all
around the area. A light rain begins, and the waves begin to crest angrily.

The helmsman says, "Nearing the pier, Cap'n. We're gonna beat it!"

The captain shouts, "Drop sail! Drop sail! Passengers get ready to haul off the
deck."
cackle
You cackle with glee.
>
The ship begins to slow as the sails are dropped and stowed away. The men on
the pier are shouting to one another, preparing to tie down the ship.

The helmsman steers the ship in close to the harbor, and the men on the pier
and aboard the ship coordinate perfectly and have the ship tied down in
seconds.

XXXXX tells you: hehe

The clouds hover menacingly above you as a rumbling of thunder echoes
throughout the land.

The captain says, "Sorry about all the excitement, lads. Just be glad we made
it. Enjoy your stay on the islands, and watch your backs. Now grab your gear
and shove off."

Ghost of Amula asks: why?
The land is lit up by the eerie light of the full moon.

City of Stormfront: Pier, Eastern Section.

The ghostly outline of a docked schooner looms out of the fog with a narrow
gangway leading up to the deck. In the distance to the west, within the city
walls, you can see the Stormfront Clocktower rising magnificently high above
everything.

Average temperature night in The Season of Divinity with medium cloud cover.
There are four obvious exits : west, small boat, east and ship.
