The land is lit up by the eerie light of the new moon.
   Huge, spacious docks make Kyoda one of the finest ports in the Sword Seas. 
Long piers service large merchant fleets.  Others are dedicated to the
impressive Kyoda war squadrons, and yet others are designated for single
adventurer ships.  Although the area is quiet now, you can imagine that during
the day, the docks must be crowded with merchants onloading and offloading
valuable cargo.

Flicks of light begin to gather mysteriously in the room.

   Here on the Island of Ocheasuu, the beautiful port town of Kyoda climbs up
along the gentle slope of a long embankment rising up from the sea.  The lights
of the town twinkle out of the darkness, revealing long rows of buildings set
in increasingly higher rows.  The southeastern part of town, built on the
highest part of the embankment, gleams the brightest in the cool night air.
   This street winds down from the higher parts of the embankment, spilling out
here at the sea gates.  A boisterous and rather seedy looking pub is
conveniently located near the dock, and all through the night, sailors stagger
out of this tavern toward their berths on the many vessels which fill the busy
Kyoda harbor.
