     These gem-filled mines are harvested by these hard-working dwarves.  The
clanking of picks being smashed into the rock echos throughout theses mines. 
There is a deep chasm here and it's depths are unknown. You toss a pebble into
the chasm but you don't ever hear it hit. The trail leads northeast and
southwest from here. 

There are two obvious exits : northeast and southwest.

to fall...who knows what would happen to their souls.

The Shadow Mithril Mines : Hidden Tunnels

     You have stumbled upon a beatiful hidden cavern. The walls are nearly
untouched by the likes of a pick.  The shiny Mithril gems put of a glow nearly
bright enough to where you don't need a lantern or other light source.  You
could only hope that no one comes to ruin this unforseen beauty and destroy it
for the likes of greed and wealth.  The tunnel leads on to the east and opens
upward back to the central trail.
