Deep tunnels: Gnawed Burrow

You have wandered down into an area of raw tunnels. The walls look as
though they have been litterly created by being eaten away by something. To
the west, and southern directions, it appears as though the tunnel continues.
The only way back out would be to climb up from where you came in.


There are six obvious exits : down, up, west, southwest, south and southeast.

The tunnel curves from the cuts of an ancient river, and the limestone speaks
of a past and powerful waterforce. Now, the only remnant of this past is a
film of water on the base rocks. A dark brown fungus has started to coat the
sienna colored walls, growing downward in uneaven strips. An intersecting
tunnel below can be seen, through a hole in the ground.

Fungus drapes from each uneven ledge in the surrounding stone, and it seems to
ripple like the fur of an animal. Surely, the movement is simply a result of a
faint shift in the air current as the tunnel turns west and southeast.

To your northwest, brown fungus drips from the ceiling, curtaining off the
exit. The tunnel expands to the northeast, and two things occur as it
increases in size; the length and amount of the fungus thins, and the tan
limestone bronzes and almost glows. The walls open to the west around two
majestic stalagmites, each reaching towards the ceiling.

The ground below you begins to tremble, and a fierce bulette comes out
launching itself towards you!

Some naturally formed structures are astounding in their beauty, for it is hard
to comprehend that random forces of nature could form something so beautiful.
This room is one such masterpiece. Carved stone archways lead to two other
passageways, and stalactites and stalagmites swirl together to form six almost
evenly spaced columns. Natural pinks and bronzes decorate the walls and the
ceiling. Indeed, the only mar to this splendor is a crudely cut rectangle in
the ceiling, to the right of the center column.

Underdark: Upper Spider Tunnels

Dark red clay forms four walls around you, each wall beveled with thousands of
marks from where hoes and shovels carved out the clay that once filled this
room. The tunnel system that beckons you to the south has been created by
human hands, not natural forces, probably for sinister purposes. A dark hole
in the center of the floor gives you no clues as to its destination.

House R'yleh: Dark Passage

You have entered a passageway for R'yleh nobles to enter and exit
Banefall away from prying eyes. From here, do the bidding of Cyrcia and your
mighty house.


There is one obvious exit : west.

You place your hands on the rock and with ease you slide it away. You enter the
R'yleh Tunnels and let the rock slide back.

Ascending into darkness the flight of stairs stretches out of view.
Wide steps cascade evenly to the polished stone floor. A passage burrowing
through bedrock beckons eastward. It smooth walls and floor gleam in imagined
