First off, I'm sorry i walked into your wall and hedge a couple of times, then stood there for 5-10 seconds pondering whether to log off before you finally searched and attacked.  And quitting is based on a timer. The timer is extended when you are in a fight, but sad to say when I 'quit' I wasn't in one yet. Tough nuts :)

Shadowfall Slums

     You are in the slums of Shadowfall, surrounded by small, rickety buildings
made from the scraps of the ruined ones that once stood here. The place is
almost like a hive, with several levels of hovels built above one another in
unstable spires. The peasants here race about hurriedly, ignoring each other
and you. Rats scurry through the area as well, living alongside their human
equivalents. The main street lies to the North, while the walls sit just West
of here. A large building lies to the East, and there is a Tavern to the south.

Pleasantly warm day in The Season of Magic with scattered puffy clouds.
There are two obvious exits : north and south.
