Kandar arrives from the southeast.
You are attacked by Kandar.
Kandar is pulled into battle by his holy sword.
You chop Kandar with your Death Sword for 42 HPs damage.
You rage against your opponents.
Troll misses you.
Troll misses you.
l
Kandar, Stone Giant, Two Trolls and Barbarian are here.

Kandar bellows out a challenge to you, calling your family very nasty names.

Caldera Mountain : Gorge of Peril

> The land is lit up by the eerie light of the waxing cresent moon.
Caldera Mountain : Gorge of Peril

You are standing against the steep wall of the gorge. Not far above you, is a
large hole in the stony ledge. It looks to be the home to something or another,
from the worn edges at the bottom of the hole. Efforts to climb into the hole
are futile, being that the walls are too steep for you. Many have fallen to
thier deaths trying to climb these walls. None have ever accomplished such a
feat. Now is not the time to try to start a trend.
Hot night in The Season of Magic with very thin complete cloud cover.
There are two obvious exits : southwest and southeast.

Kandar continues spouting challenges and charges after you!
You are hunting Troll.
You are hunting Kandar.
You rage against your opponents.
southwest
> The land is lit up by the eerie light of the waxing cresent moon.
Caldera Mountain : Gorge of Peril

You are on top of a dirt pile, and you have your head above the fog. You can
see the somehow unrealistically gorgeous Caldera Mountain peak from where you
stand to your east. To your west is the frightening Fire Swamp. Of course, you
realize, the eagles can now easily see you. it would be wise to move from this
spot.

> south

> The land is lit up by the eerie light of the waxing cresent moon.
Caldera Mountain : Gorge of Peril

Directly to your north you see the path through the fog. Everywhere else you
look you see bleak grayness, though with effort, you see a huge boulder to your
south.

The fog which cloaks you leaves you disoriented. You see no path, nor do you
see any signs of familiar landscape.

> The land is lit up by the eerie light of the waxing cresent moon.
Caldera Mountain : Gorge of Peril

Stumbling off of your feet, you finally seem to break through some of the
extremely thick layers of fog and can now see your path, which is winding away
to your north and west. To your south stands a dark bleak wall of the gorge.

Kandar comes screaming after you!
Kandar crashes into you with a painful crunch of bones and armour!

> The land is lit up by the eerie light of the waxing cresent moon.
Caldera Mountain : Gorge of Peril

To your west looms a dark forest, waiting to eat you alive it seems. You cannot
see it very well due to the thickness of the fog, but it is more felt than seen
anyway. You are lost from the gorge path completely. Listless wandering is
probably the only thing that could get you back on it in this gray mess.

> The land is lit up by the eerie light of the waxing cresent moon.
Caldera Mountain : Gorge of Peril

The slope here is very steep, and you have to hold on to every boulder you pass
to keep from sliding down onto the path below you, which winds away to your
north. The fog is very thick however, and you are curious as to when you wont
be able to see your next hand hold.

You resist the effects of the stun.
> The land is lit up by the eerie light of the waxing cresent moon.
Caldera Mountain : Gorge of Peril

You hear loud growls coming from the west. They chill your blood, as they are
from no living creature you have ever seen. You can see no more than the Fire
Swamps to your west. You have lost all signs of the path and the gorge wall
which looms over you prevents you from moving any further south.

Caldera Mountain : Gorge of Peril

You can barely make out the outline of the path winding around where you stand.
The rocky terrain underfoot makes travel slightly difficult for you, but you
stumble along as best as you can.

Caldera Mountain : Gorge of Peril

You have your back to the wall of the gorge. The stony atmosphere here is very
uncomfortable, especially with the thick fog making your footing so unsure.

You see the path directly to your east. The dried out creek bed is obviously
used regularly for travel by many. You can feel the ground you are on sloping
toward the east, and you realize you are at the base of Caldera Mountain.

> The land is lit up by the eerie light of the waxing cresent moon.
Caldera Mountain : Gorge of Peril

You are standing on the slope of the Gorge of Perils. To your north is the
thick stone wall of the gorge. it is impossible to climb, tell the tales yuo
have heard in many taverns. Rumours say that anyone who can actually accomplish
reaching over a man's height on this wall falls to thier death, amking it quite
the futile effort.

Caldera Mountain : Gorge of Peril

You are standing on a section of the wall of the Gorge of Perils. This is one
of the less steep sections. Below you, to your north, you can see a worn path.
It looks to be well traveled upon.

> The land is lit up by the eerie light of the waxing cresent moon.
Caldera Mountain : Gorge of Peril

The gorge path seems to end here. Before you stands a A massive rock
slide seems to be the cause of your adventures around this gorge trail. There
is a dense layer of fog covering nearly everything you see. If only the walls
were lower so you could climb your way out. Maybe if you spent a few days you
cloud move the rock slide off. It seems the only reasonable solution would be
to head back to the northwest and follow the trail out.
