Drowned Rat Tavern

     This smoke-filled, low-ceilinged dive is the Drowned Rat Tavern. It is
crowded with people af all races, but the mood here is sullen, rather than
happy and boisterous as you would expect in a tavern. The customers talk little
and drink a lot, which is just the way Gearn Thickneck (the half-orc bartender)
likes it. The place is decorated in traditional orcish style, with skulls of
every shape and size hanging on the walls. In one corner stands a huge stuffed
minotaur, one of Gearn's many battle trophies. Above the bar hangs a large
painting, and there is a plaque mounted on the wall. It serves as a menu. 

There are two obvious exits : north and down.
