   Underdark:  Upper Spider Tunnels.

     Dark red clay forms four walls around you, each wall beveled with
thousands of marks from where hoes and shovels carved out the clay that once
filled this room.  The tunnel system that beckons you to the south has been
created by human hands, not natural forces, probably for sinister purposes.  A
dark hole in the center of the floor gives you no clues as to its destination.
There are two obvious exits : south and down.
