     The mine tunnel opens up here, and you are in a large cavern with more
than just mithril.  You see other gems and and and precious stones protruding
out from the walls of the mines.  Water trickles down from small cracks in the
ceiling and drips on your head.  You hope that it's water, but it could be bat
guana.  You quickly take in the rest of the pretty sites, and run off to find
your way out of the mines.  The path goes to the northeast, and to the east or
west from here. 

There are three obvious exits : east, west and northeast.
