In every other direction the scenery does not alter, sand ... and more sand. It is enough to drive the less adventurous types insane.

You stand in the entranceway of the most horrifying tower you have ever laid eyes upon. The stench, emminating from the tower strikes fear deep into your bones. You definitely begin to have second thoughts about entering this Tower. The entranceway is hewn from solid stone, and seems to have no marks from stonecutters' tools. The porticullis is raised, but the cruel looking, wrought iron spikes dangle above your head. They seem all too ready to drop at any second, and you make a point not to stand under them any longer than necessary. The inside of the tower is dark, but seems to have a faint glow, although you can not discern where the light originates. There are no torches along the walls, only the dim glow from within.
