Beware

As I slept last night a darkness came upon me.
From the darkness a demon spoke.

As darkness falls
Brightens the soul
Fire from the eyes 
and mind of mortal
man.

Phoenix light was 
quenched in pain
as the oceans fell.
Such light comes again.
Beware!

From the cities of
death it comes.
Look not at children
of the light,
ye of the dark.
Run.

I was frozen with terror until a pair of brilliant lights appeared 
behind the  demon and it evaporated, screaming it's words of warning 
yet again.
I know not what the words mean, but I could still remember them when
I awoke. I fear this portends a new threat which affects us all.
